About Girbil
Girbil is an asynchronous video collaboration tool for remote teams. Teammates send each other video, voice messages and screen recordings, and nobody has to meet at the same moment.
The story
Girbil addresses an everyday problem: distributed teams lose hours every week to live meetings that someone in another time zone must attend at 6 a.m. or 10 p.m., and written messages lose the tone and context that make work easy.
Our answer is to make short asynchronous video the default way to hand work across time zones. A clip carries a face, a voice and a screen, and the teammate who watches it can answer when it suits them.
Mission
A workday where no one is asked to be online at someone else's hour, and every team keeps a searchable, human record of decisions told in people's own voices.
What you can use today
This site is a working async-first toolkit. Relay Board draws a team's 24-hour handoff timeline, Script Clock times a clip and runs a teleprompter, Meeting Swap calculates what replacing meetings with clips could save, and Clip Desk uses AI to outline scripts, summarize transcripts and draft replies. The planning tools keep their data in your browser.
